I normally dive dry, I am 5'11", 225lbs, and in a compressed neoprene drysuit and steel 120 tank, I need about 40lbs to sink.

I will be diving in a 3mm fullsuit, and aluminum 80 tank. What should I use?

I dove 7mm farmer with steel 120 and was over weight at 24lbs

12 lbs to start

I am a 5'11" 210lb, wearing a 3mm shortie and I dive with 12lbs. Just my .02 for a reference. I think that 12-14 would be a good starting point.

also depends on the water SG...i take a lot less weight in the andaman seas verses the south pacific.
