Hey it's me again.

I figured since I already started a thread about one extremity, I might as well start a thread about my other cold extremity; my feet.

I'm trying to find the best way to keep my feet toasty. I thought the Weezle insulated footwear might do the trick. Two layers of Smart Wool socks just aren't cutting it in 40-50F water. Any comments from anyone who has tried the Weezle footwear?

Thanks!

I have a pair that I don't use. My drysuit boots fit well with a pair of heavy wool socks on. The booties take up a lot more space. So, when I have them on my boots are too tight and I get cramps in my feet. My only suggestion would be to make sure you have enough room in your boots for them.

As far as performance goes, I didn't notice a difference between them and the heavy socks while ice diving last winter. Maybe I just have warm feet.

I have a weezle suit and weezle booties, and apart from giving the whole ensemble a slightly romper suitish look, they work really well.

I don't suffer from the cold that much, but I have spent 4 hours in 3 degree water (centigrade don't know what it would be in old money), soaking wet and not cold... ...How I love training!

I use the Weezle Extreme with the booties and have been very happy with it. Though I don’t get cold easily I have tried wool socks and found the booties to be warmer. For real cold water 35 degrees and below, I use wool socks and the booties………………………..Arduous
