Just wondered how everyone made out this weekend. Did One tank at Brant Rock Sunday, no keepers for me. Chebby came up with one. A lot of Monster female eggers out there today. Tried a new section of the "beach" long snorkel in and out and rocky entry but looks promising for future trips.

One keeper for me from pebble beach.

Did two at Folly and one at pebble yesterday, and two at pebble this morning (wanted something with a nice easy access for today :))

I did manage to find this monster that i've seen a few times. He has been pretty much staying put under the same rock for the last couple of weeks. I still haven't got a great look at him since he's always hiding under a giant rock...maybe one night i'll have to go see if he's out.

:bang:

Went out on the boat. Three dives 12 Keepers. Saw a lot of big eggers and shorts.

Out in Cape Ann 2 dives 9 keepers, 1 a 3 1/2lbs.

This morning we decided to move a little further up the shore from our usual "honey hole". As Scubanorth hinted, I've never had a dive where I've taken so many huge lobbies out of their holes only to find them full of eggs.

I had one interesting encounter - swimming around a huge boulder, I came face to face with a monster who was headed in the opposite direction - right at me. He took one look at me and assumed the attack position and just advanced at me. I pinned his claws down and grabbed him - and he wasn't even thinking of retreating. Man - it felt like holding a football. Of course, after noticing there were no eggs or Vnotch, I found that he was about an inch over.

So I took him for a ride to meet my buddies Jim & Jeff, who I found in the midst of a battle with a buggun under another boulder. I slowly stuck the crusher claw into Jim's face, and finally he noticed and gave him (then me) his best WTF stare.

Our tally for two dives was 8 keepers, not as good as it's been there, but better than some days.

12 Keepers for me. The othertwo divers are novices. Only one dared to grab one the final dive. He had to get his nerves up. Probably because his wife told him not to come home empty handed

Oh, the ole cook someone alive or keep em captive debate. No way I'm getting lured into that one. I've been to the Living World at Epcot similar to our local NE Aquarium I imagine. It was one of the dives I'll remember the longest. Sounds like you had a good weekend. I really do think the Aquarium is a better option for the fish and they help teach kids about our water resources so it's a win win for all.

Now which is more cruel...

Yeah, what about that? It's okay to boil lobsters alive because they're free-range or something? I'm not sure I agree with where you draw the "cruel" line.
