I would like to here from anyone who was at Ocean Cove this weekend. The Northern California Synopsis bouy web site showed 1 foot swells . What were the conditions. Thanks Chris

Hi,
I was out there this last weekend 6/26-6/27/04 and got 2 abalone...one was ok and the other was just beautiful. I was amazed that the shell sizes were not that different, but to see the difference in the meat was shocking.
The weather was nice and warm but the wind was really blowing!! Waves were probably 2 to 3' max which was not great but certainly diveable.
We camped at Stillwater campground and walked down to a cave just a little south of Ocean cove. Are there any better spots there?
