weekend getaway

[Lightning Fish]

I am looking for local places, (such as the Sunshine Coast, Saltspring Island, Galiano Island, etc.) that have cottages for weekend getaways that are good for kids and also cater to scuba divers.

Does anybody have any recommendations?

I've never stayed there, but http://www.madrona-lodge.com/are pretty popular with divers. They have a shore-wall dive right on the property (I think it's in the "99 Dives" book). The Galiano dives on my website are just down the road from here. I've always wanted to try this placehttp://www.dragonskeep.caon Gabriola. I've also wanted to try the camping at Port Browning (Pender Island). There's a camping area by the marina and pub, but it gets crazy busy on long weekends.
