I am interested in diving either Mon. 8/4, Thu. 8/7 (not too early), or Fri. 8/8. Please drop me a note if you are interested.

I would love to get more diving in. However, I am waiting on my suit to get back. Where were you thinking of doing your dive?

Anywhere in Gloucester is okay - I was actually thinking Pebble Beach. If you live on South Shore, I would like to try Scituate - I had never been there.

Turns out that Wednesday is the best day for me.

Where did you have in mind in Scituate?

I have only done a few OW dives at Brant Rock since getting my cert, but I fish out of Scituate all time. I have a bug license and have made "improvements" at catching them.

(and I always thought pulling my traps was hard...)

;)

I did not have any specific spots in mind because I don't know any specific spots - I had never been there. I just sent a PM to Yak asking for suggestions.

What kind of "improvements" are you talking about? :)

:D

The "improvements" are getting used to using a tickle stick and getting a hand on them before they take off at warp 3.

Also, I am getting better at eyeballing the little guys.

Anyway.... Scituate looks like it would be great with all the rocky coastline, but we would definitely need a more experienced "guide". YAK seems to have been to a few local haunts, maybe he can help you (us) out.

Thanks for the reply.

MASS-Diver suggest Minot Beach -- "Go toward the far (Glades) end of the beach and it's sand/rock/boulders. Good lobster spot.

Vis can be great or horrible. Max depth is probably around 25'."

What day are you available? (Hopefully the rain will have ended by then!)
