Weekday Diving

Does anyone dive much during the weekdays? I have some time off coming up next week and was wondering how busy Haigh Quarry gets.

It's DEAD on weekdays - - - Let me know when you, my weekend is usually Thursdays and Fridays (due to summer hours at the job). Sometimes I can't find buddies because they all dive the "real" weekend, but that's my "work-week" I'm just north of Chicago.

There's three of us meeting Fri. a.m. July 21 at Gilboa quarry. You're more than welcome to join us. We plan to do 3 or 4 dives that day.

I am free anytime after 14th for the following two weeks. Let me know if your interested. I had to take some vacation time off before I lost it.

Me and "no gloves" stsiddall dived a local shipwreck Monday night. I try to go diving after work once a week, but don't have a regular weelky dive buddy so I usually only make it out about once every other week.

Forest City Scuba of Rockford Illinois does Get Wet Wednesdays, every other wednesday at Pearl Lake, which is about 2hr west from downtown chicago or 1hr south of Madison WI. Have not been with the group, but the store says there is usually more than 10 people total there.
