Good Morning -

It's Tues again - looking forward to everyones weigh-in.

Good Luck,
Becky

I'm +1 for the week. Multiple power outages, caused by the constant thunderstorms the past week caused us to eat several times in resturants during the week. That was complicated by the four day strike that the CWA had against SBC and the uncertainty of when we would go back to work, had me eating too much and drinking too much beer.

Well, we're back to work for now, and I'm back on the regular diet and vow to post a loss next week!

I lost a pound :fruit:
I lost a pound! :jump:
Not a big deal to some, but FINALLY after 2 weeks of struggling (actually gaining quite a bit while the parents were in town, then having to relose it) I hit my first mini goal of 1*0 lbs! This is the lightest I have been in about 5 years! I am so excited! The walking every day is finally paying off...I am sure I have gained some muscle mass, but its the scale that I am using as a judge. I hope to eventually lose 40-50 lbs over the course of the year, with the goal of 1-2 lbs per week max.
Thanks Natasha for setting the fitness challange up! This is what I needed..accountability to the group instead of myself.

I have been dreading this all morning.

+5 for me.

I've got all the excuses in the world, but that won't cover up the fact it was a week of no workouts and total lack of discipline on my food intake.

Right. Here's to hoping this week is better.

-1 for the last two weeks. I havent been all that good about exercising, but still eating reasonably well. I have a big week next week, about 30 miles of hiking planned over 4 days, a day or two kayaking and canoeing as well as generally being out of the office and not in this chair - so i wont post next week, but i hope to have lost about 5-10# by the following tuesday (6/8). See you with a loss at that time.

Robert....don't dwell on it, today is a new day and you'll do better. Been there myself!

Greg, Jenny, Simon, keep up the Great work!

Robert, Tom, don't worry..each day is a new day..hang in there!

Lost 2.4lbs. for a total of 61.6

Well, this challenge has not helped me as much as I had thought it would. I'm still right where I was when we started (has it already been 8 weeks? Wow!). I got sick about 3 weeks ago, and so started sleeping in to recouperate instead of getting up and walking/jogging before work, which helped a lot for me to keep my weight down. Now that I'm recovered from the sinus infection, I can't seem to find my motivation to exercise in the mornings again.
At least I haven't gained any weight, but I feel it's only a matter of time if I can't get back on a stronger exercise regime... Ideally, I could stand to lose 50 lbs., but my goal for the time being is 20. But, with the way I've been going lately, it's just not happening any time soon.
Any suggestions?
