Hey on_two_wheels: I am going to try to make it on the Magician this coming Friday. I won't know for sure until Tuesday afternoon.
Never been on the Magician before.
We were supposed to go out today, but couldn't due to family obligations.

Jerry is a really cool captain, and Rod and Tom are always great on deck. I have always had a great time on the Magician. It's my favorite boat for SoCal (primarily Cataliona) dives!

That's good to hear, thanks. I know they go out on Wednesdays and Fridays for open boat, but can only make the Fridays from time to time. How are the bunks? I heard the food is great.
LanikaiGirl; I have been on the Peace and she is a good boat, food is good. Some people like the hot tub. Bunk space is a little tight, but okay. They have reading lights in the bunk. I like to update my logbook and nap going over and back. I wish I could get Thursday off, but it is to difficult.

When I know for sure Tuesday afternoon that I have Friday off, I can sign up for the Magician.
If you want to buddy up with me that would be great.
I am still working out the weighting and getting used to my new BP/W setup.

Well, Magician is a LOT closer. 
If you can do friday, let me know and I'll book right away. Happy to help take weights from you on or below the surface as you fine tune. You gotta be loving the bp/w, huh? It was the best choice I've made....even better than going hoseless!!
