Hi Dee,

I've been diving for 25+ years but never have taken the opportunity to do any photography. I noticed that the Wed photo was taken with a Olympus C4040. I have the C3000 (3.3 Mpixel, not 4.0 like the C4040). Do you know where I can get a housing for my camera. With less Mpixels to work with do you think it's worth it. We leave for 2 weeks in Tahiti at the end of the month and would sure be great to get some pics.

This was shot with an Olympus 3040 (3.3 mp camera with an Ikelite DS-125 strobe)......... Pics from Bora Bora

I was just on ebay where I found a new pt010 for $225. Good price?

We're in Bora Bora for 5 days of the 14 there. diving with Blue Nui. Any suggestions?

The pics are small due to the resizing that the host site does.....the larger pics are much better....one of these days I will change to a site like Dee uses !!!!

Hi Dee,

I'd suggest Underwater Digital for the housing. It runs about $250. Yes, I definately think it's worth getting a housing for it! I think Finese has a C-3040, which isn't very different and he gets great photos.

ps edit....I just saw your other posts. The eBay price is just a bit cheaper but take into consideration if it's brand new, has a warranty, comes with the o-ring and counter-weight, etc. I haven't seen that auction but I would spend the extra $25 to know exactly what I was getting and who I was buying it from.

That's an amazing shot, Dee! I can't wait to get my hands on my own camera... I have one, but it's a lousy MX-5. I'm still saving up for housing for my F707.
