Great Pic of the wheelhouse? Why do all my pics come out with a black background? I can never get that blue background with something in the foreground. What am I doing wrong? Please help.

What camera are you using? This will make a difference, but basically you need to set exposure for the blue water. Depending on what camera you are using will determine how, or if, you can do this. If the camera is completely non-adjustable, the only things you can do, are use higher speed film, and/or shoot in brighter conditions.

I have the reefmaster DC 200 digital camera. I know it's not the best but it works for me.
