Hi!

I will arrive at Phuket next friday. How is the weather right now? did the rainy season finish?

thank you!

The intertropical convergence zone is well south of Thailand now so normal "dry" season weather prevails. Here in Isaan it is so cold (high teens C or mid 60s F), that people are wearing down jackets, knit scarves and woolen caps. Undoubtedly we'll start seeing doggy sweaters real soon now.

Take that, Buffalo!

Currently seems like each evening has torrential/heavy rains, more rain in average per day compared to Samui, where it's monsoon time. Drove from Khao Lak to Phuket yesterday in pouring rain and once on Phuket there was thunder and lights!
During the morning and day it's actually nice at the moment.
