What's the weather like in Bonaire in July? My husband and I have visited in October, but found the humidity oppressive. We're thinking about returning in July but are wondering about the weather. Any comments/advice?

We spent 2 weeks on Bonaire last July (and are returning this July) and although there was some humidity, it was very manageable since there was always a breeze. The temperatures were in the upper 80's every day, and with all the diving we were doing, it felt like recharging batteries to sit and enjoy the sunshine.

As a comparison, I've been on the east coast during the summer and Bonaire wasn't even half as humid IMO.

I find July starts to heat up but is comfy and perfect for diving by day and dining at night.

Anytime there is a tropical depression in the Caribbean, it sucks all the wind out of Bonaire. One year we had a storm Emily in mid July. It messed up connections for all of my guests coming in for a group. in July typically the winds are lighter. Having lived in Cape Cod I can say we never get the triple H stuff in Bonaire. By early Sept. the heat index can be up to 128 so I head out of Dodge each Sept.
