by a week of land tours (santa cruz and isabela islands). saw some stuff we had never seen before underwater like red-lipped batfish, scalloped hammerhead sharks, marine iquanas, penquins, and sea lions. in general the vis was not very good, the water was cold (63F min, 73F max) and some big currents. we spent a lot of time holding on the rocks in the cold water and current waiting for sharks to come by. the aggressor boat, divemasters, crew, and food was excellent. this was our first liveaboard. we had a great time. we had never done a liveaboard before because my wife gets seasick easily. lots of great people on the boat from all over.
