This semi dry wetsuit has not been worn in the water and still has the tags attached to it. I bought it in Jan. 2011 and then lost 35 lbs so the suit no longer fits. It is a ladies large. I have attached an image of what the suit looks like from the Waterproof website. The suit new is $700. I will be selling it for $400. It comes with a hood as well. Description of Semi-dry Wetsuit:
The Taurus provides divers with the best of both worlds as it combines a snug fit with a Drysuit zipper with a stunning design. The Taurus provides warmth, protection, great performance all with the style and quality that Waterproof are known for.
Features include an anatomical design, super stretch neoprene seals, inner plush lining and unique 3-Dimentional hard-core rubber Knee Guards to mention just a few. The Taurus bridges the gap between a Drysuit and a Wetsuit. Dry enough to keep the Diver warm in colder water, but with the snug fit of a high-class wetsuit. The Taurus facilitates longer dives in warmer environment and lower air consumption due to less heat loss.
Main Features
• 7mm semidry with dryzipper and separate hood (included)
• Dynat gas-proof zipper horizontally cross the shoulders makes the suit dry and warm
• No restraining seam guidance at arms and legs
• Front neck zipper adds to the comfort when on shore.
• Separate hood fits underneath the warm neck collar that keeps hood in place
• Cuffs are fitted with zippers and these sturdy cuffs provide protection and add insulation. The cuff seals are made from Microcell stretch neopreneand can be folded to bock the entry of water and thus make the suit as close to a Drysuit as you can get.
• Double thread stitch and all ends knotted together.
• Prebent arms and legs for maximum anatomical fit.
• No seam in the crotch area.
• No four seams meet one another as cross (no 90°angle).
• The wrist- and ankle seals have round-cut endings, which are additionally protected by fabric tape. Vulcanised 3-D hard-core kneepads.
• Front neck zipper, provided with under layer of neoprene.
• Inside neck there is smooth skin and inside lining of Nylon
• Plush Harmonica stretch neoprene panels in hollow of knees and arms.
• Generous double seals made from Microcell stretch neoprene with zipper at arms and legs.
