We're about a week out from our five day trip to dive in Kingston. The dive shop has my money, the truck is ready and the trailer will be all packed up by Wednesday night next week, for an early departure on Thursday morning. I have my 300 wt undies for my drysuit all packed. Is that going to be too warm for the diving in Kingston this time of year? I can bring along a pair of sweats to wear under my Viking Suit if the water is warmer....

Anyone? Anyone? Do you know the water temp at depth in Kingston? It's........

Many thanks kids!

...than I'm used to! Even Higgins Lake was colder than that two weeks ago when we were diving there.

How's the visability when the water gets that warm? Around here, we get the algae bloom in the warm water, and the vis goes to nothing.

Thanks again!

The davey was 50 degrees last week. Vis depends on which wreck , it is generaly about 60 ft.
,sometimes crystal clear ,sometimes a bit hazy.
The wrecks in Kingston area are fabulous!!!
Enjoy

Surface is 72ºF and thick. But once you get down a bit, it gets clearer quickly. Can't tell you temps myself...............I don't carry guages when freediving.................
