Anyone have any recent info on water temps on the East End? I'm going in two weeks and am trying to decide what exposure protection to bring. I know the water temps are normally mid-80s this time of year, but this has been a weird summer.

Last Sunday it was 86 - 87 degrees.

Good gravy! I could dive nekked with those kind of temps!

(Don't worry, East enders...I'll cover up)

Yup - just got back Saturday night and as of Sept 11 - 87 degrees. Lowest temp 84. Even North Wall 100+ foot dives. We dove in bathing suits, rash shirt and Nautica board shorts. Trip report out within next 2 days.

If anyone else needs to know, we just got back from a fabulous week diving with Ocean Frontiers on the East End and every dive was 86 degrees. What a delight to dive in water that warm!

We'll be diving with OE in 3 weeks. I think maybe 82 is the warmest water I've ever dived so I'm hoping the temp stays up so I can what that's like. How was the fish life?

Dove at The Maze & Grouper Grotto this afternoon with OF. Great dives We saw two reef sharks at the maze!

Water was a constant 87 degrees
