The hole was 40-42*F and surface was about 53*F. First thermocline is gradual (over 5 feet) starting at around 20'.

Viz was ~30'.

I was there on Sunday with ppO2 diver- we were diving doubles in the shallow side, although we did an excursion to the flamingo, larc, and truck for about 10 minutes.

Maybe you tripped on the stage bottles we left on the ramp? :D

Anyhow- those temps sound about right- the air temp was 85f according to the thermometer on the changing rooms. Going from the bright warm surface to the water felt like I was wading through ice water.

oops wrong day, I was there Sunday April 29th :D
 
We were there the same day, I stayed on the deep side until early evening. I was there with a student for AOW.

Will be there with two more this sunday.. probably off the west dock.
