In the last few weeks I've started to notice water spots on the lens. What would be the best way to keep this from happening? Can I use some sort of water sheeting agent or cleaner. It's taken about six months for these spots to appear on my wide angle lens.

Use rain x. I use it on the lens and inside on the back of the housing. It makes the water roll right off the lens and prevents any fogging.
