I just purchased the sealife 1400 to upgrade from my 800 model.
I already had that problem with my old camera where the pictures were almost completely white because the flashes fired too much.
On these dives to HI this week, I'm only using 1 flash, and still WAY to powerful. I've already turned it to its lowest setting, tried auto, made sure I selected the proper configuration from the piano keys, to no avail.
Rather frustrating to spend that kind of money, and getting green or blue pictures since I can't use the flash, or green and/or blue videos.
Any ideas?

What you describe sounds like overexposure and if thats the case I would play with the shutter speed and f-stop...
A nice way to get an idea of what they do if youre not familiar with them is a site like cameraDemo or similar.
