I just saw the program about it last night on History channel and I swore to my husband the female diver looked familiar.

Thanks. I can't take a lot of credit for the show, that was all the film crew! It was a fun project to work on, though!
 
How did they get such good underwater video when the visibility was so bad? What was that you said, you couldn't find the right wing since the vis was so bad :D

It first showed over a year ago (Jan or Feb of '06 IIRC). It's an episode of the series "Mega Movers". It's also available on DVD from the History Channel.

Most of the video was shot early in the day before we started mucking things up, there was also quite a lot shot after we lifted the plane under the barge and in shallow water. Until the plane was lifted, we never saw more than about 18" of it at a time :).
