Why do divers pay big $$$ for specialized drysuit undergarments? I layer up with the same poly plush I use for all my other outdoor activities. My only remotely activity-specific garments are the wader pants I also use for fly fishing.

Now I am glad I asked the question. Quick hijack-can you point me to more detailed info on this topic? My current stuff is not cheap, but it isn't designed for diving. In several hundred dives I have never had a problem.
