I'm in need of a valve for an old steel 72.
The old ScubaPro valve on it is bad.
If anyone has an old "K" valve for free or for sale cheap, I'd be greatly appreciative.

Does your tank have 3/4" threads and an o-ring, or the really old 1/2" pipe threads? If it has 3/4" threads with an o-ring, most modern valves will fit it. Did you see this ad here on Scubaboard?
For Sale Genesis KA-30 Yoke Valve. O2 Clean. $20 Shipped CONUS

Just remember to get a 2250 burst disk. Myself, I've been working on a J valve for my 72 don't even have to put old in front of that.

Check around you LDS's, they usualy have a bunch of condemend tanks and will give you a valve off of one.

If you are rebuilding a J valve, go to the Vintage Double Hose site, downloads, there is a powerpoint presentation there on rebuilding the J.
