I am always very humbled when diving, but its the exploration and the things that are there that cause me to lose a sense of caution and safety. Not that I disregard it completely. I am a very safe diver, but love exploring new things.
It doesn't matter. You plan your dive and you dive your plan. If your dive plan includes a max depth of 80-ft but you saw this coolest giant black seabass at 90-ft and you wanted to come down to see it? Don't. If you do; if you were to break your agreed upon dive plan with a buddy, then that buddy may not be too happy with you and may ask you to find a new buddy...assuming that another buddy will take you up once he/she found out that you broke the dive plan.
That's all I'm saying. Be a safe, conscientious and ever improving, ever learning diver and we'd love to take you with us. There are plenty of things to see and do and they ain't goin' anywhere. If you missed that giant black seabass because you didn't break your dive plan, then you'll see another one in a different trip.
