Hi, i am very new to scuba diving. Just got my Open Water & Advance recently.

May anyone tell me more on Regulators? Basically there are how many kinds of classification, eg. Cold water, Warm water, Sealed........... Nitrox or Non-Nitrox etc..........

Thank you.

I would suggest visiting the websites of different manufactures and reading about their different regulators. You might also want to visit your LDS and ask them if they have any brochures for the different manufactures that you can have.

I would start at aqualung.com (just the first one that comes to mind).

ditto. aqua lung is the awesome. but also sherwood! there are tons of classifications. for most basic divers however a reg that is for cold and warm water works. tech divers have their own setups but for the rest of us a good reg works great. i love my awua lung titan micra. you can adjust the airflow and it is really small and lightweight.

That is the broadest, openended question I have ever herd. LOL. I would recommend readin up on websites, and yes it is normal for every manufacturer to tell you they have the best regs in the world.
Another great option for you is to consider an equipment specialist course that will better affiliate you with your equipment.

Hi Guys & Gals, Thank you very much for your informations & guidelines, i will start to look up at those areas mentioned by all of you............. Happy diving to all of you, see you around.....
