I just don't log dives
:partytime::partytime:I am hosting a New Year's eve party and dive. If anyone is interested in joining members of the MUD club and a few other local divers in ending 2007 and starting 2008 underwater, PM me for details and directions! There is plenty of room to crash on the floor after the party and still be up in time to get to Gilboa for the New Year's day dive. (I am about 3 hours away from Gilboa)

Either you guys are nuts, or you have no life! :shake head:

:coffee:

Well it could be a little of both, but probably more of the "nuts" side!:D

We put 6 divers in the water under 2 1/2 inches of ice. About 2 hours after we arrived at the dive site we left with 3 inches of snow on top of the cars. Now I am sitting in the warm house watching the fire and enjoying the football games, while a bunch of other divers are driving 6 hours in what normally is a 3 hour drive through 8 inches of snow to pay for diving in Gilboa. Then they will drive back, unpack all the wet gear and get ready for work tomorrow.

Now, what was your comment about being "nuts" and not having a life?

Age brings perspective, and I may not be a dumb as I look!;)

Well I guess I'm in the nuts category as well. I dove Gilboa yesterday in the snow and cold. But once I got the DS on, it was warm. Water was warm, too.

No, Randy; the water wasn't warm---YOU were warm. "WARM" doesn't start until 80 degrees when all you need is a lycra skin----THAT'S "WARM" WATER!!!!!!
