Here is what I was thinking about doing.
Adding a Dive Alert to my BC via my Sherwood shadow plus 2nd stage octopus that is mounted to my bc.
I would like to put it in line before the 2nd stage.
If I put it after the 2nd stage it is tough to keep the reg in my mouth due to it being put too high up the hose. The Dive alert adds about 3 inches of space between the 2nd stage and the bc connection.
My questions are
1 - anybody know where I can get the male fitting for a quick disconnect by female threaded coupling, so I can put it on to my 2nd stage ?
2 - Is it safe to put my octopus on a quick disconnect ?
3- Should I just keep it like I have it set up now. Low pressure hose down the left side with quick disconnect ,and dive alert hooked up ?
