They called me the other day and asked for some help finding people. One of the theme weeks they're doing is "Heroes" and they're interested in people who might be DMs or Instructors or anyone who might have been involved in a life-saving rescue situation or something like that.

If you're interested, contact Jen Apploff as indicated below and tell her in the e-mail that Ken Kurtis sent you. (No, I don't get a % of your winnings . . .)

DON’T FORGET THE LYRICS!
The exciting and addictive Game Show “DON’T FORGET THE LYRICS” is back for Season 5!!! Hosted by multi-platinum recording artist Mark McGrath!

On “DON’T FORGET THE LYRICS” contestants choose songs from different genres, Decades and musical artists. They then take center stage to sing as the lyrics are projected on screen, but Suddenly, the music stops and the words disappear. Will the contestants belt out the correct missing lyrics or will they
freeze under pressure?

Producers are looking for fun and interesting contestants who are knowledgeable of song lyrics and are willing to sing their heart out in front of a live audience! Young or old, a motown lover or country fanatic, all that matters is locking in the correct lyrics for a large cash prize!

“DON’T FORGET THE LYRICS” will air Fall 2010 on Syndicated Fox Television Stations as well as on primetime on both VH1 and MyNetworkTV.

IF YOU WOULD LIKE TO APPLY…
Email your name, age, and a jpg photo to Casting Director, Jen Apploff: jen.apploff@dftl.tv.

Mention "scuba diver" or "scuba rescuer" or something like that in the subject line and body of the e-mail.

Good luck!!!

Ugh....a great friend of mine was all set to appear on this show but was canceled last minute. She worked for Capitol Records, Sony, etc and had worked with the host YEARS ago. That was enough to disqualify.

I've seen just a clip of the show but looks like good times. Good luck to anyone that gets on there and let us all know!!
