Just got back from Wakatobi and Borneo. The diving, food and staff were amazing. My dive guide-manager was Ketut. He was outstanding. I had Bungalow #1 and loved the location and trees around it. A gecko lives under the bungalow and will sometimes wake you up at night. But I loved the sound, and they are considered good luck.

I had great luck when diving and seeing Orangutans and the rare Silver Langur in Borneo.

I'll post photos as I go through my mountain of photos and videos in the coming weeks.

Looking forward to more trip report on Wakatobi. Did you use a tour operator in Borneo? If so, may I know if you can recommend the operator? Thanks.

I used Audley Travel to set up my flights and guides. After Wakatobi I went to Borobudur and took a klotok boat tour for 3 days to see orangutans. I think they did a good job.
