Wakatobi

Has anyone ever heard of or been to the Wakatobi Marine Park in Indonesia? Any thoughts on what the diving and facilities are like there? Anyone know anything about other activities to do there, the culture etc.? What makes it better/worse than other dive destinations in South East Asia?

There are quite a few threads on the General Asia board about Wakatobi (it isn't a marine park, but a resort). If you search this forum, you'll get a variety of opinions.

Indeed a superb place to dive, but there is just one option! Luckily its a good one. The resort (while certainly not cheap) is excellent. And the diving...well apparently Jacques Cousteau (some old French guy) said it was the best in the world..
