Those are bargain basement prices for Wakatobi. Prices can easily exceed $10k/week for some of the better rooms, private flights and tips.
Yeah you beat my edit, I forgot the extra $1000 for the charter flight. And yeah, that's no tips, probably no tax, off season, etc... In reality I'd expect the average normal-ish non-baller stay there to run more like $8-9K/week all-in.
 
Just adding... having been to Wakatobi 5x now, the part that people aren't taking into account is that it's getting significantly more expensive, because the quality of the resort, the diving, the food, and the reefs continue to differentiate Wakatobi vs so many other places in Indonesia.

It's signficantly more expensive now that even what it was ~10 years ago, and their preservation efforts are working - it's getting harder to find similarly pristine reefs elsewhere (places in RA and Halmahera certainly stand out as examples, but there are not many other locations).
