Anyone aware of viz along treasure coast, Florida?

I have not done Ft. Pierce diving, but have spent a lot of time there over the years as my cuz lives there.

From a shore diving perspective, I think vis is low compared to other spots south. Shore diving is IMO not a good way to go in the upper FL area between Ft. Pierce, and Jupiter, but if you do so, vis is low. On a good day I've read 15 feet, and a lot of days are not all that good.

The problem is the reef does not appear to run that far North like it does from Jupiter down, and vis is not good near shore.

Maybe locals can give you more experienced details, but IMO head a bit farther south, and the problems go away helped by the fact that one is boat diving. Jupiter has some awesome dive sites, and that is just 30 minutes south or so...

Right now it's pathetic...we have strong on shore winds. Fall & spring there is rarely any good days. The winter has a few good days...but mostly it's a summer happening
 
Does anyone know of any good spots to dive in the jupiter area?
