VT3 problem?

Getting some good vibes from Doug at Oceanic. Them guys are on the ball. Sorry the same can't yet be said for my LDS. We'll see.

Having some full scale problems with my LDS concerning my VT3. Not being treated very well, at all. Just sent them an e-mail. The type of response I get will dictate whether I go off stark raving madman and talk heavy poopies about them on all the dive forums I belong to.This should be fun.

Doug hooked me up with a service technician, and although his first recommendation for a fix didn't work (I already have the current firmware installed), I'm hoping to hear from him again about whether or not I should be concerned or just consider it a strange glitch.

Regarding rinsing, the first thing I do after every dive is soak my VT3 in fresh water, so it isn't a build up of salt crystals. But thanks for the suggestion, it was a good one.

... Sent it back to Oceanic almost a month and a half ago. Still haven't gotten it back.

Still waiting. Monday it'll be two months. Some day......................................
