My dive club is doing a picnic/dive day next saturday. I plan to attend, may or may not dive. Will likely take my gear with me in case I decide to. I've dove it before, can't say I get real cranked up about it but it is a place to get wet.

anywhoozle, if anyone is going to be there it'd be nice to meet & possibly dive.

I have two advanced students who couldn't come last weekend. I am going to be there Friday afternoon for navigation and night dive and then finish up early on Saturday am. Then off to Panama City for deep and night boat dives if the weather permits. Am staying in Grandview 3.

I'll be at Vortex on Friday morning to about lunch. Then it's on to PCB through Sunday morning (weather permitting, as always). It's an advanced checkout, so we're planning for a night dive, but I don't know whether that's supposed to be Friday or Saturday. Anyway, if anyone sees the red Underwater Adventures van from Baton Rouge, I'll likely be nearby.

I'll be having a boatload of fun on this checkout, as I'm in the process of wrapping up DM (and there's a nice list of things to be doing). :biggrin: (Oh, and my 8-years-younger brother is doing his basic checkout. )

we're have hot dogs + whatever club members bring (I'm making chili) for lunch & soft drinks. Look for the Aquarians. There will also be a dive trailer from Sea Divers.
