If anyone has any viz reports please post them here. Its great to know what the conditions were like so other people can plan a Saturday or Sunday dive. With your help it'll be like a weather report only for water viz.
Thanks

Wednesday night it was a bit rough first 30 then opened up nicely at Kelvin grove.

Tuwanek today was crap until 30', then it was about 30-40'.

Pretty nice.

Lotsa jellies.

Thanks for the updates guys
Not sure where we will dunk in tomorrow but will post afterwards

Viz today ( Sunday ) at Porteau Cove
11 AM dive LOW LOW tide, fair to good viz,,,slim at 20 Feet after that pretty good
1 30 PM Dive...tide coming in,,,choppy white caps,,,viz deteriorating badly..Being on the bottom helped but it worse as the dive went on
Big exchange today.

A few of us (Bradnerboy, StuartT, Hunter and I) went out to Pam rocks and Porteau wall this weekend.

Vis at Pam rocks was 20-30' and a little less (10-20') at Porteau wall. The wall is not that exciting actually (Furry creek being better). It is quite short but even still we did manage to find 3 Octo's, a school of juvenile tubesnouts some nice clusters of Zooanthids and a mutha lingcod in a crevice.

We did wonder about another potential wall further south across the little cove from Porteau wall that might warrent further exploration but all ageed that this wall was a "been there, done that" experience.

Does any one have any viz reports for today, Saturday June 19th?
Porteau
Whytecliff
etc etc
Thanks
