Well we have to wait until next year to find ice on the River. every site that I know of is open (Lock 21 down to Kingston).

how is the viz at Rockport boys? We did Prescott last week and it was in excess of 80 feet probably close to 100. today we were lucky to get 10. hanging on to the bowsprit of the little wreck you could barely see the wreck. Must be because of the runoff/freighter traffic.

Will report on viz at the Gaskin tomorrow.

The water at Lock 21 (from shore) looks pretty clear and you can barely see the current as it breaks the lock. usually you can clearly make out where the lock is. this tells me the current on the lock is quite low, will report back next week.

100 foot vis.... arrgh... stop it, you're killing me..! we got maybe 5' vis with 30 F temp in Halifax harbour today... a few good bottles though.

enjoy...

tiller wreck was about 25' @ the bottom, im guessing cuz of the wind and rain the day b4

Wow that kind of visibility of 100 feet is to be expected down in Cozumel. Is there any physical or scientific reason why the water is so clear in early spring? You,d think it would be dirtier with snowmelt runoff!
