Is there a way of showing all the photos by scrolling down.(photoshop 11 does this). I have both programs and trying to make it easier to use the vivid pix?

It looks like you're working in Windows. If you look into the folder/card that has your pics, yes, you can scroll and select multiple pictures at once. Depending on the size of the files, you can open quite a few - figure 25-50 MB is a good # to play with.
