I'll be in Fort Belvoir, VA next week for business (long, boring conference). This is a late breaking trip (my boss JUST decided it would be good for me to go), so I've done zee-ro planning.
I'll be missing out on the dives planned for this weekend. Also, this could be a great opportunity for a dive experience in another area. So I'd like to try for some east coast diving.
Are there any "local" dive trips accessible from Alexandria, VA going on 16 or 17 Sep?
Is a wet suit appropriate this time of year? Is a wet suite EVER appropriate in that area? (sorry, been spoiled by two years of diving in HI).
Any other gear I would need that couldn't be rented?
Any receommendations on a decent LDS?
