Mine have the rib over the toes, appears to give them a little bit more stability / power in my kicks.I have two pair of full-foot Duck Feet fins, one with the rib over the toes, and one without than rib going over the toes. When I was in training at the U.S. Naval School for Underwater Swimmers, one of the senior instructors had a set of full foot Duck Feet fins, so they were popular with some old timers.

There is a lot of reproduction/custom reproduction stuff, but also a fair bit of well preserved original. The Scuba Museum makes a lot of new replacement parts, and there are a few other sources as well.fun.
So are those wetsuits and other elastomer bits and bobs new but retro copies of the old stuff?
Otherwise, how did ya'll find so many examples in serviceable shape?
@JMJ Wetsuits custom made quite a few of the skin in-out vintage metal zipper/twist lock suits for us. Pretty much everything else was original but restored. The hoses on the regs were mostly reproduction silicone or neoprene as the original neoprene hoses tended to disintegrate over time. Same with the main diaphragm on the regs.fun.
