Sorry Robin, didn't mean to mess up your gender there. And I am in no way implying that you are stupid.
In video, as with most things, familiarity brings with it a set of problems. One of them being that what looks perfectly fine to someone who does not spend all day analyzing videos, looks clearly different to someone who does. I get this with clients all the time. I'll change bitrates by 200k and see it just as clear as day, and they can't see the difference if I had $100 bet on it.
Still frames are generally a bad way to compare video as many of the issues are temporal and can only be seen while the video is playing. But I do apologize if you think I was trying to paint you as "stupid". Certainly not my intention.
