Vimeo video embed test

Testing how well scubaboard embedding a vimeo video works and if most people can view the higher quality video.

If you are not familiar with vimeo, it's basically a video share site meant for higher quality videos than what's on youtube.

Let me know if you have problems viewing and how the resolution looks.

Yeah, it looks like vimeo won't embed HD and makes you go to their site for that. Can't blame them, but kind of defeats the purpose of embedding vimeo over youtube. Oh well...

No it doesn't. There is a VAST quality difference between embedded Youtube and Vimeo.

We weren't able to set up an embed code for HD video. Vimeo won't let you do it afaik.

yeah, the quality looks a bit better on the vimeo, but not much. I still love Vimeo though and will continue to use both for my videos.

Seriously? They aren't even in the same league. Youtube is using probably 1/5 the bit rate. The entire video macroblocks any time there is movement on the screen.

yes, seriously. At that size the quality isn't as much of a difference to me, especially since not the HD original.

I am not a man for one thing - Female and not as stupid as you are implying. I watched both posted videos by Ronscuba, did freezeframe to make sure I had them in sinc to a certain extent and there was a difference as I said.... but not a big difference as they are so small. On a full screen it would make a difference, but so tiny it does not make a big difference to me.
