If you love macro and muck diving, these are two great places.

Comments are appreciated but be aware that these are my first dives with a macro lens.

I can't see from the front page of your post which are which site.. What is the difference between Romblon and Anilao and with only about 2.5 weeks is it worth packing everything up and spending the long hours to transfer from one location to the other?

Yes it is. Both places are interesting and you can travel to romblon by boat during the night. So no time lost in transfer since you are not travelling by plane. Anilao deserves more time but Romblon has some unique nudibranches.

Where did you take the boat? From the Batangas pier? Are there private quarters for sleeping overnight on the boat? Thanks!

Two operators, Starlite and 2GO, to choose from but none of them sail every day.
Three P has detail description on transfer.

Have fun.

My mistake.
Only Starlite has schedule directly to Romblon,
2GO only goes as far as Odiongan(Tablas Island) which will require further connection by boat etc etc.

I am planning a trip to PG + Romblon next yr but not sure when is the best time.

Thnaks. for the updated info on ferries to Romblon.

I believe May-June may be best time to do PG+Romblon. That's post Easter holiday, which you want to avoid at all cost. Seas are still calm and still dry season. Schools in the {Philippines starts 1st week of June, I think. Less crowd and maybe cheaper airfares.

It is Apr - May for me in 2025.
Cebu Pacific has special P1.00 promotion from time to time. I just need to check their web regularly because their on line notification is not reliable.
