We headed out to Ship Rock, Catalina Island and did some dives; I shot some more video. Visibility was superb at roughly 35-50 ft and at places 80 ft. vertical. I produced what I could, 40% or so my video was lost because I got my on-off wrong and wasn't filming when I thought I was. Next time I'll pay closer attention! Enjoy!

I love diving Ship Rock. Don't ya just love diving SoCal this time of year? Nice video Shawn.

Great vid! Looks like the viz was about 34-49ft better than what we had up in Monterey this weekend ;)

Great video, makes me wish I was there. What were the water temps?

Thanks for sharing, that was nice. We went out to dive ship rock on Sept-26, but did an underwater mountain between ship rock and bird rock instead.
Man the current was flowing that day, but VIS was good.

I've noticed on some boards (including this post) where the embedded youtube does not display on my IE8 browers, but works everywhere else. It just shows up as a missing picture but no link. Is there a way I can include a URL without an embed for others that might experience this problem? So they can click to it?

It was 62* at 40 ft., and below zero at 80 ft. I was the only person in a wetsuit. Might be one of my last times before going dry.

Wow, that much of at temp change in 40ft, now that sounds cold.

I was joking about below zero. I think it was 54* at 85 ft. (my deepest depth for the day). Felt arctic to me.
