Video Quality-GoPro 10

Hi all,
I've noticed that my dolphin and shark clips aren't as sharp and crisp as I thought they should be with the 10. Especially when you pause the video, there's no way I could get a clear screen grab.
Does anyone have an idea of what I'm doing wrong or if something looks off in my settings? Wondering if it's because the subjects were farther off and there were lots of particles in the water. I've tried finding answers online but can't find anything specific. Apparently I can't attach a video, so I've attached some snapshots of the quality. Thanks!

4K|60fps
Lens: wide
HyperSmooth: Boost

Bit rate: high
EV Comp: -0.5
White balance: auto
ISO Min: 100
ISO Max: 800
Sharpness: Medium
Color: Natural

Off hand I'd say it's a light issue. You aren't getting enough for those settings. Check this out. What is ISO in photography & why is it important? | Adobe

You need some color correction in your software. But most of all you are quite far from the subjects. To get good footage you need to get closer to reduce the column of water between the camera and subject.
