I often upload mine to my ISP server, but you might try Google Video for your hosting if that isn't an option for you.

so, the SB gallery doesn't do video? I have some too. Google video, thanks m.

You can upload videos to the SB gallery but you have to follow the size and file type limitations.

From the upload page:

Allowable Image Types: jpg,jpeg,png,gif
mpeg,mpg,avi,asf,wmv,mov

Maximum File Size: 4000k file size limit.
ZIP file uploads allowed (50.00mb limit).

Here's a movie I uploaded to my gallery (converted from my C-5050 QuickTime format):

I also like Mpegnation . . . for US $4.99, they'll host your video for 6 months.

putfile.com offers free video uploads. I don't like google video because you have to get their proprietary software to upload or play back videos from the site *yuck*

Here are the stats from putfile's home page:

Media Type ---Accepted Extensions --- Max Size --- Number of Uploads
Images .jpg, .jpeg .gif, .png --- 2MB ---Unlimited
Video .wmv .avi .mpg .mpeg .mov .asf .asx .mp4 .3g2 --- 25MB ---Unlimited
Audio .mp3 .mid .wav .midi --- 25MB --- Unlimited
Flash .swf --- 25MB --- Unlimited

I've been editing my videos to 2 minutes, and then converting them to WMV's on windows movie maker (on every version of Win XP). This keeps them under the limit for file size... and it's free - right here on the SB Gallery.

I had been hosting larger files on my own server... but with the amount of traffic from eager SB'ers to see the videos... It was sapping my bandwidth which I need for other things.
