I just purchased a little Sony housing for my Sony T-30 camera. It is capable of 7.2 mp images and video that is of very good quality. I'm looking for a lighting solution for both video and photography. The housing does not allow for a synch cable, so some slave solution for photography is necessary as well. I like the fiber optic cable for transmitting signal via the camera's flash, if that will work. wouldn't it be cool if I could switch between video and stills on the same dive? Can the lighting solution be as cabable as the camera?

Thanks for the help,

Gary

After as much research as I could stand, I've opted for the Fantasea nano set up with the larger spot light for video. Cheap. $349 shipped, $77 for the upgraded 44 led focus light for video. Going to dive Fiji on Naia in ~3weeks, 6th trip. Always had Nikonos RS, sold the film camera about a year ago. I hear these rigs take pretty good pictures, we'll see.......
