Hi everyone. I just had my OW last week. During the dive, I've used my Gopr Hero 3+ to shoot video.

I was diving at 20-18m most of the time.

I did use red filter(china), with Protune OFFed. I couldn't recover the yellow and red most of the time.

I noticed most of the video are either in Blue or green. Only when I was shooting on corals, the red, pink and yellow appeared perfectly.

When a girl with pink rashguard and fins swims over, video turned to green.

Then I realized that we can actually set the White balance manually when Protune is ON.

Is there any recommended settings other than my red filtet for my gopro in order to recover the original color of thr subject??

Thank u guys in advance.

Hijack... you shot video DURING your OW certification dives?

The china filter, get rid of it. I do use a red filter and Protune OFF (meaning, auto white balance) without problems.

RJP, yeah... bouyancy is okay for me.

Toozler, The red filters from any makers are basically just a piece or acrylic or glass. Didn't make sense to me actually.

Protune is offed.
