FYI - Redondo Beach triathlon is taking place this Sunday, transition area in the parking lot, swim course over the dive spot, run course through the park. Parking will be impossible, beach is open but doubtful the guards would let you dive in the swim course.

Will be closed probably 5 am to noonish

Saw a post on divevets and thought this was something people might want to know to save a trip...

and "competing" might be too strong a word for it Definitely having fun

Then I wish you LOTs of fun, and may your fun occur and finish prior to the completion of the fun of many other participants .

(It must be interesting to go through the surf at Vets NOT carrying 85 lbs of gear... can't imagine it... Don't stub your toes on all the dive gear on the bottom )
