The Sundiver and Sundiver Express are running a special on Veteran's Day and all proceeds will be donated to Disabled Veterans Scuba Project. Now the good news is that the boats are almost full. So please go dive with them that day and support a great cause if you can.

But why should it stop there? I can't dive that day but am happy to donate to the cause. So I am asking anyone interested to "sponsor a dive spot" by either sending the money for a dive spot (or whatever you can afford) to the Sundiver, or by donating directly to DVSP (Donate). Lets give back to those that have given so much for us.

Here is the information on the project:

November 11th, Veteran's Day, falls on a Friday this year and we will be running As many boats as we can fill to 100% benefit Disabled Veterans Scuba Project (Disabled Veterans SCUBA Project > Home)! This is a great organization geared toward bringing Scuba to our wounded warriors and others hampered more than usual by terrestrial gravity. As much as you love diving, imagine the freedom and joy it brings to those who have lost some of their mobility defending all of us. Please consider playing hooky and supporting DVSP by coming out on November 11th and diving with Sundiver!

You can contact the Sundiver at 800-555-9446or at www.sundiver.net

PS- If you donate directly to DVSP please let them know it is a donation and that you are not reserving a dive spot.

I'll ask and let you know.

There should be a couple divers there. I would contact DSVP and let them know what you'd like to do. I know they have specially certified assistants to help with the divers.

Just a reminder- this only two weeks away!

Only 5 boat spots left open, and still time to just donate if you can!

This is next week......get wet for a good cause.

OK, the good news is that it appears the boats are FULL! Way to go So Cal Divers for supporting this great cause. That does not mean you can't still contribute though. :D See post 1 for details on how you can do that.
