That was an interesting story. Lot's of click bait on the site, which makes the story suspect in my eyes. I hope it's true, but I'm not sure.
 
When they were building the Brooklyn bridge in 1869... The men digging the foundations for the towers were getting "SICK" it was called " Caissons Disease ".... Then years later they started adding airlocks to stop this from happening... Today we know it as the bends...
